Less than a year since the film\u2019s record-shattering theatrical release, NBCUniversal<\/a> announced on Thursday that NBC<\/a> has landed the broadcast premiere rights to \u201cWicked<\/a>,\u201d the global phenomenon starring Cynthia Erivo<\/a> and Ariana Grande<\/a>, which earned $756 million at the worldwide box office and achieved the highest domestic gross of any film since its release on November 22, 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cWicked<\/a>\u201d premieres Wednesday, November 19 and will air from 8:00-11:30 p.m. Et\/Pt on NBC, just two days before the release of its highly anticipated sequel, \u201cWicked: For Good<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
