Actress Isabelle Tate has died. She was 23.<\/p>\n
Tate\u2019s death comes just weeks after her appearance on the pilot episode of \u201c9-1-1: Nashville.\u201d<\/a> She played a bachelorette party attendee who got a dance from stripper Blue Bennings (Hunter McVey) right before he left the profession to become a firefighter. <\/p>\n Tate\u2019s talent agency confirmed her death via Facebook<\/a> on Tuesday, Oct. 21.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are deeply saddened and completely heartbroken to share that Isabelle Tate passed away on October 19th. She was 23,\u201d the post reads. \u201cI\u2019ve known Izzy since she was a teenager and she recently returned to acting. She booked the first series she auditioned for, 9-1-1 Nashville. She had a wonderful time.\u201d<\/p>\n McCray Agency went on to thank the casting agents who gave Tate \u201cwonderful encouragement\u201d and a \u201cnudge back to the acting world\u201d as well as \u201c9-1-1: Nashville\u201d assistant director Lora Sorrentino for \u201cmaking her set experience a good one.\u201d <\/p>\n The post also gave a shout-out to Tate\u2019s mother, Katerina, and sister, Daniella. <\/p>\n A cause of death was not shared. Tate previously opened up about her struggles with a progressive neuromuscular disease that weakened her leg muscles over time.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I was first diagnosed [at age 13], I couldn\u2019t fully understand what it was or grasp what it could be,\u201d she wrote via Instagram<\/a> in 2022. \u201cRecently, it\u2019s really progressed and I\u2019ve come to terms that if I want to live my life to the fullest I need to use a wheelchair at times. Blue gave her a dance after witnessing another woman bullying her at the strip club. <\/p>\n \u201cShut up, hot wheels,\u201d the woman told Tate\u2019s character after she politely informed her that she was blocking her view of the show. <\/p>\n Tate\u2019s obituary<\/a> notes that she \u201cnever once [made] excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others.\u201d She was described as \u201ca fighter\u201d who \u201cloved volunteering her time to all things, particularly animals.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201c9-1-1: Nashville\u201d is <\/b><\/i>available to stream on Hulu<\/b><\/i><\/a>.
