The Dancing with the Stars<\/em> cast is putting their foot down.<\/p>\n

The professional dancers featured on the popular ABC competition series<\/a> have reportedly met with producers in an attempt to stop judges\u2019 alleged \u201cbias\u201d and \u201cfavoritism,\u201d according to The U.S. Sun<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a handful of pros, both some who are still on the show and some who have already been eliminated, who are fed up with how they are being treated,\u201d a source told the publication about the judging panel, which consists of Carrie Ann Inaba<\/strong>, Derek Hough<\/strong> and Bruno Tonioli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome feel the judges have been harsher than they needed to be to them, which not only impacts scores, but it also impacts how the at-home viewers see the season,\u201d they went on.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt impacts who they vote for<\/a> and who they want to watch week by week,\u201d the source said, claiming that dancers such as Pasha Pashkov<\/strong> and Alan Bersten<\/strong> have often felt that the panel \u201chave been too harsh on them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source noted that multiple cast members have \u201cstepped up to meet with production over the judges\u2019 bias and are demanding some kind of change and more fairness moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat that change looks like is still to be determined, but they at least got the conversation rolling,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n

Former DWTS<\/em> pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy<\/strong> even spoke out against the show, specifically judge Inaba last year over feeling like her feedback is not positive enough.<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old told The U.S. Sun <\/a><\/em>in October 2024: \u201cI\u2019m a fan of constructive criticism. I\u2019m a fan of criticism that has a foundation that I can take and then do better. Right. There\u2019s none of that.\u201d<\/p>\n
