Jennifer Coolidge<\/a> and Nicole Scherzinger<\/a> have joined the cast of Rebel Wilson<\/a>\u2019s upcoming comedy \u201cGirl Group<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The film, which Wilson is writing, directing and starring in, sees her playing a \u201cpop diva who has been kicked out of her own girl group\u2019s reunion tour and slapped with a sentence of court-ordered community service,\u201d its synopsis reads. She then \u201cseizes the change to stage a comeback by coaching a group of misfit teen girls for a major record label audition.\u201d<\/p>\n

Coolidge and Scherzinger\u2019s roles remain under wraps, but the project will see Scherzinger reunite with her fellow former Pussycat Dolls member Ashley Roberts<\/a>, who is part of the film\u2019s fictional band Girlfriends alongside Wilson. Melanie Chisholm<\/a> of Spice Girls fame and All Saints\u2019 Shaznay Lewis<\/a> complete the group.<\/p>\n

The \u201cGirl Group<\/a>\u201d cast also includes Randall Park<\/a>, Sheridan Smith<\/a>, Jamie Lee O\u2019Donnell<\/a>, Guz Khan<\/a> and Jolene<\/a> (\u201cStar Trek: Enterprise<\/a>\u201d) and Loren Gray<\/a>.<\/p>\n
