Frankie Muniz<\/a> can\u2019t wait for people to see the \u201cMalcolm in the Middle<\/a>\u201d revival.<\/p>\n So much so that he ignored restrictions on posting behind-the-scenes photos.<\/p>\n Muniz shared a picture he took with co-stars Justin Berfield<\/a> and Christopher Masterson<\/a>, who play his brothers in the original series and the new show, titled \u201cMalcolm in the Middle: Life\u2019s Still Unfair.\u201d<\/p>\n Muniz, a Ridgewood native who grew up in North Carolina, posted the photo with the original show\u2019s Grammy-winning theme song, \u201cBoss of Me<\/a>\u201d by They Might Be Giants<\/a>.<\/p>\n (Chorus: “You\u2019re not the boss of me now, you\u2019re not the boss of me now, you\u2019re not the boss of me now and you\u2019re not so big.\u201c)<\/p>\n \u201cI was told not to post this yet, but then I listened to this song,\u201d said Muniz, 39 (see below). \u201cI\u2019m just too excited for y\u2019all to see the new episodes and I miss my brothers.\u201d<\/p>\n Berfield, 39, plays Reese and Masterson, 45, plays Francis.<\/p>\n Muniz, of course, is Malcolm \u2014 the role that launched him to stardom as a child in the Fox comedy, which aired for seven seasons, from 2000 to 2006. The character was introduced as a child prodigy.<\/p>\n READ MORE: <\/b>\u2018Malcolm in the Middle\u2019 revival happening with N.J.\u2019s Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, Jane Kaczmarek<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Jane Kaczmarek<\/span> is also returning for the revival as Lois, mother to Malcolm and his siblings.<\/p>\n So is Bryan Cranston<\/a> \u2014 Walter White himself \u2014 who plays their dad, Hal.<\/p>\n Erik Per Sullivan played Malcolm, Reese and Francis\u2019 younger brother Dewey, but he\u2019s not returning for the series revival.<\/p>\n Sullivan, now 34, has since left acting.<\/p>\n Caleb Ellsworth-Clark<\/a> will play Dewey in the new series, which was announced<\/a> in December 2024 ahead of the show\u2019s 25th anniversary.<\/p>\n At the time, Muniz, Cranston and Kaczmarek shared the news in a video as Malcolm<\/a>, Hal<\/a> and Lois<\/a>, with Kaczmarek shouting \u201cMalcolm!!!\u201d<\/a> in her signature style.<\/p>\n \u201cMalcolm in the Middle: Life\u2019s Still Unfair\u201d premieres with four episodes this December on Disney+ (date pending).<\/p>\n Jamie, the youngest sibling on the original show, who was a toddler when it ended, will be played by Anthony Timpano<\/a>. Lukas and James Rodriguez played the character in the Fox series.<\/p>\n The revival brings a new sibling \u2014 Kelly, Malcolm\u2019s new youngest sibling, played by Vaughan Murrae<\/a>.<\/p>\n New episodes of Malcolm\u2019s continuing adventures with his family were filmed this year in Vancouver (the original show filmed in the Los Angeles area).<\/p>\n Read the original article on NJ.com<\/a>.
