Kim Kardashian has revealed that she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.<\/p>\n
The reality show star and entrepreneur made the frightening announcement in a preview of the new season of \u201cThe Kardashians\u201c that was shared by The Today Show<\/a>. The episode clip showed Kardashian, 45, getting an MRI and explaining her diagnosis to her family. <\/p>\n “There was a little aneurysm,” the mother of four said. \u201cLast night, I was like \u2018Why the [expletive] is this happening?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n A brain aneurysm is the ballooning of a blood vessel in the brain, according to the Mayo Clinic<\/a>. While most brain aneurysms aren\u2019t serious, they can be life-threatening if they rupture.<\/p>\n Kardashian\u2019s doctors initially told her that it was \u201cjust stress,\u201d which aligned with the celebrity\u2019s life recently. She has been extremely stressed because of her relationship with her ex-husband, the rapper known as Ye (formerly Kanye West<\/a>). The couple divorced<\/a> after seven years of marriage in 2021. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m happy it\u2019s over,\u201d Kardashian said in the clip. \u201cMy ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple share four children: North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7 and Psalm, 6. Kardashian said in a recent interview<\/a> on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast that West hadn\u2019t seen their children in months and detailed the tough choice to end the marriage. <\/p>\n \u201cI think that when you have kids, it\u2019s definitely harder to leave then it is to stay,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n West has been under controversy in recent years for making offensive comments<\/a> and problematic behavior. In April, the rapper alluded<\/a> to having an incestuous relationship with his male cousin when they were children. West opened up about co-parenting with Kardashian in a controversial interview in March<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThat was my fault. I didn\u2019t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with her. But that wasn\u2019t God\u2019s plan,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t got the name or likeness ownership, or at least 50-50, with my kids,\u201d West added. \u201cSo how is it joint custody? My kids are celebrities and I don\u2019t have a say.\u201d<\/p>\n The stress from the situation also resulted in Kardashian\u2019s Psoriasis coming back. She was first diagnosed<\/a> with the skin condition in 2011, at the age of 30. <\/p>\n Season 7 of \u201cThe Kardashians\u201d debuted Thursday and will run for 10 episodes, concluding on Dec. 25.
