Additionally, violist Kinga Wojdalska has been appointed as adjunct professor.<\/p>\n<p>The Fundaci\u00f3n BBVA viola chair is formed by two separate professorship positions. Power joins fellow professor Diemut Poppen. Both Power and Wojdalska start their positions for the 2025\/26 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Power said he was \u2018delighted\u2019 to join the faculty in Madrid and to work with the next generation of musicians. As an educator, he is on the faculty at Zurich\u2019s University of the Arts and gives masterclasses around the world, including at the Verbier Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Polish violist Wojdalska won second prize at the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thestrad.com\/news\/emad-zolfaghari-wins-2024-primrose-international-viola-competition\/18187.article\">2024 Primrose International Viola Competition<\/a>.
