Kevin Federline\u2019<\/strong>s kids have put distance between themselves and their mom, Britney Spears.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n On Thursday, October 23, the former backup dancer, 47 \u2014 who shares sons Sean Preston,<\/strong> 20, and Jayden James,<\/strong> 19, with Spears, 43 \u2014 appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored<\/em><\/a> and shed light on the status of the boys\u2019 relationship with the pop star after his bombshell claims in his new memoir, You Thought You Knew.\u00a0<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n Host Piers Morgan<\/strong>, 60, asked Federline whether Spears\u2019 Instagram statement from last week, in which she claimed she\u2019s only seen one of her sons for \u201c45 minutes in the past 5 years,<\/a>\u201d was \u201caccurate.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNo, that\u2019s not,\u201d Federline replied. \u201cShe saw one of my sons [Sean Preston] one day this year, and he decided not to go back over there because of what he saw.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe other one, Jayden, who\u2019s my younger son, is 19 now \u2014 he\u2019s been over there quite a few times over the past year, and he\u2019s stopped seeing her in the last few months because of the situation,\u201d Federline revealed.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re terrified and they\u2019re worried about their mom and they don\u2019t know how to help because of what all of this has caused,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Morgan pushed for details about what the boys witnessed, but Federline said he didn\u2019t want to share too much.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s my son\u2019s story to tell if they decide to. I mean, the things that they\u2019ve seen are shocking, right?\u201d he remarked. \u201cSo shocking that one of my sons came to me and called me and was like, \u2018I don\u2019t know what to do. I\u2019m afraid mom is going to die.’\u201d<\/p>\n However, when the\u00a0talk show host asked Federline if the situation had \u201cto do with substance abuse,\u201d<\/a> he responded, \u201cabsolutely.\u201d<\/p>\n Morgan also brought up how Federline wrote in his book that Spears was \u201cdoing cocaine while she was still nursing your boys\u201d and asked him if the Grammy winner was on \u201cthat kind of substance.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt is that, all of it,\u201d Federline replied. \u201cSo much more.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cA variety of different drugs?\u201d asked Morgan, to which Federline said, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/staging.globemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/icphotos070649-scaled.jpg\")
