George Clooney<\/strong>\u2019s Ocean\u2019s Eleven<\/em> character Danny Ocean would louvre<\/em> to get in on the action that took place in Paris, France, on October 19.<\/p>\n While speaking to Variety<\/em> at the Jay Kelly<\/em> Los Angeles premiere on Thursday, October 23, Clooney said that Danny Ocean would likely be jealous of the people who robbed the Louvre, one of the most famous museums in the world, in broad daylight and have yet to be caught.<\/p>\n \u201cI wonder if they\u2019re going to catch these guys,\u201d Clooney, 64, mused. \u201cThey seem to have done a pretty good job of getting away with it. I watched the film of them coming down\u2026 It was cool, though. It\u2019s terrible, but if you\u2019re a professional thief like I am [in the Ocean\u2019s<\/em> films], I was very proud of those guys.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor \u2014 who recently said that Ocean\u2019s 14<\/em> will likely go into production next year with original stars Julia Roberts<\/strong>, Brad Pitt<\/strong>, Matt Damon<\/strong> and Don Cheadle<\/strong> \u2014 was asked if the team behind the franchise would consider incorporating the Louvre burglary into the plot.<\/p>\n \u201cWe should,\u201d Clooney replied. \u201cWe should rob the Louvre! But somebody\u2019s already done it, man. I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n He added, \u201cIt is pretty funny because it was in the middle of broad daylight \u2014 crazy \u2014 with all the tours there. Now I have to really pull it off.\u201d<\/p>\n As for the upcoming installment in the heist comedy film franchise, Clooney teased, \u201cThe script is done. We\u2019re in great shape. It\u2019s just scheduling now, and we\u2019ll get that together by next year.\u201d<\/p>\n The Louvre investigation remains ongoing. Earlier this month, thieves disguised as construction workers entered the national art museum and took eight pieces of the French Crown Jewels.<\/p>\n The entire robbery took less than eight minutes, with four of them spent inside the museum itself.
