Tainy and Feid are back with an on-theme spooky collaboration. On Oct. 23, the Puerto Rican hit producer teamed up with the Colombian star on his new song \u201cMONSTRUO,\u201d an experimental reggaeton song that takes Feid\u2019s music and overall brand in a new direction. This also seemingly marks Tainy\u2019s first new single from his upcoming sophomore album.<\/p>\n

Tainy is known for pushing his electronic and reggaeton music to new heights. In his new collaboration with Feid, he uses violin and piano chords to add a sentimental and eerie element to his reggaeton soundscape. \u201cMONSTRUO\u201d samples the French track \u201cLa Chanson D\u2019H\u00e9l\u00e8ne\u201d by Philippe Sarde, giving the song an extra creative and emotional flair. With this collaboration, the Colombian artist also pushes his music and creative direction towards experimental realms, which we are excited to see more of. The cherry on top? The vocalizing outro that sounds like Latin Mafia, who showed support and reposted the song<\/a> on their social media. Fans are theorizing that Latin Mafia will be part of the following track after \u201cMONSTRUO\u201d on Tainy\u2019s album.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The music video, directed by Stillz, is a black and white cinematic film featuring a 1920s orchestra and a Frankenstein<\/em>-inspired narrative. It echoes the gothic and cryptic aesthetics of Bad Bunny\u2019s \u201cBATICANO\u201d<\/a> thanks to the same director\u2019s creative mind. Eagle-eyed social media users are wondering<\/a> if \u201cBATICANO\u201d will be part of Tainy\u2019s new album, which isn\u2019t too far-fetched since he produced the 2023 song along with MAG and La Paciencia. Can we expect a horror and gothic-themed album by Tainy?<\/p>\n
