Teddi was born six weeks early \u2014 and unlike when she gave birth to her 12-year-old son, Hudson, LeCroy never saw her milk come in.<\/p>\n<p>That left her with one choice for feeding her baby: formula.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Madison LeCroym, pictured with her husband and two children, says formula feeding her new baby was a \u201cno-brainer\u201d for her. <span class=\"credit\">madisonlecroy\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt was a a no-brainer for me,\u201d she told The Post. \u201cI didn\u2019t beat myself up too much about not being able to breastfeed\u2026 You go through the period where you\u2019re sad you couldn\u2019t do it. But then at the end of the day, it\u2019s what had to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was important to her to approach shopping for a formula thoughtfully.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cI did tons of research trying to find something that modeled breast milk itself,\u201d she explained, noting that she was initially eye European infant formulasm which are less likely to contain artificial sweeteners and also require DHA, an Omega-3 fatty acid \u2014 something not mandated in the US.<\/p>\n<p>European formulas also have stricter regulations to ensure more nutrient-packed products, and block synthetic additives and GMOs.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, it was LeCroy\u2019s husband, Brett Randle, who suggested <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-nyp-link-source=\"trackonomics\" data-nyp-affiliate=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/clicks.trx-hub.com\/xid\/nypost_01638_nypost?p=https%3A%2F%2Fnypost.com%2F2025%2F10%2F24%2Fhealth%2Fsouthern-charm-star-madison-lecroy-talks-taboo-parenting-move%2F&amp;q=https%3A%2F%2Fbobbie.sjv.io%2Fc%2F2229206%2F2892761%2F33836%3FsubId1%3DNYPost-Content-Textlink-southerncharmstar_bobbieformula%26u%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.hibobbie.com&amp;author=Reda%20Wigle&amp;articleID=37471496&amp;event_type=click&amp;publishdate=october%2024%2C%202025&amp;linksource=web&amp;primarytag=madison-lecroy&amp;contentsection=health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bobbie<\/a>, an organic, European-style formula, founded by moms and beloved by celebs like Cardi B., Sophia Ro, Carmen Aub and Blake McGrath.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s got seven brothers and sisters, and everybody has kids, and they gave him some recommendations, and one of them was Bobbie. I trusted that. I did the research and it\u2019s a ten out of ten for me,\u201d said the star, who has now teamed up with the brand on a new campaign.<\/p>\n<p>US Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has been looking to make formula more nutritious \u2014 and less dangerous \u2014 for months as a part of his <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/09\/us-news\/rfk-jr-report-calls-on-government-to-support-breastfeeding-increase-supply-of-donor-human-milk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Make America Healthy Agenda<\/a>. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>LeCroy\u2019s second child was born prematurely in June.  <span class=\"credit\">Clifton Prescod\/Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYou have to listen to your body and your baby. I think people who say breastfed babies are the best need to understand that. In my opinion, a well-fed baby is always the goal,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Still, formula feeding has been shamed by some hardcore breastfeeding advocates. LeCroy hopes speaking out can help break the stigma.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGive yourself grace,\u201d she said. \u201cIf you have to go with [an infant] formula company, that\u2019s what you have to do. You can\u2019t let other people get in your head about what they think is best for you. Only you can decide what is going to be best for your baby.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And just because she didn\u2019t breastfeed doesn\u2019t mean her body hasn\u2019t gone through a lot of changes \u2014 her breasts included.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>LeCroy notes that with the formula route, she gets more sleep and more help with feedings. <span class=\"credit\">madisonlecroy\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s just say that the body is definitely giving,\u201d she said. \u201cMy milk never came in, but it sure does look like it did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In her case, going the formula route has all worked out great so far.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be a preemie and already at 12 pounds, we\u2019re doing really well. She\u2019s got a head full of hair and is very, very happy,\u201d she said of little Teddi.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, she gets more sleep and more assistance with Teddi\u2019s feedings.<\/p>\n<figure
