Talking about his plans for Season 2, creator Michael Seitzman told TV Insider<\/a> that he is contemplating whether he should make the characters from the first season return in the next part or not.<\/p>\n The veteran writer and producer said, \u201cI have a lot of ideas for Season 2, but none of them have really calcified yet in my mind, and some of them include those characters, and some of them don\u2019t. There\u2019s a part of me that wonders if we just completely wipe the slate clean in Season 2, and the characters who are not in trouble come back, and the other characters who were in trouble, we treat that as backstory.\u201d<\/p>\n Seitzman further shared that bringing back the characters from the first season to Season 2 is \u201ca tricky thing,\u201d but he has to think about it. Meanwhile, Milo Callaghan also shared his excitement. He stated, \u201cI\u2019m here for seven seasons, so let\u2019s go. We\u2019re always having conversations\u2026 I hope so. I hope we get the gang back together, and I hope we meet another adversary on the road, and I\u2019m excited.\u201d<\/p>\n While announcing the second season, Versant President Val Boreland conveyed, \u201cThe Rainmaker is returning for Season 2 on USA Network.
