\n\tThe All-American Rejects <\/a>have dropped off their new song, \u201cEggshell Tap-Dancer,\u201d the third single off their upcoming album. The indie rock sweetheart playful new track follows the singles \u201cSearch Party\u201d and \u201cEasy Come, Easy Go,\u201d which all dropped earlier this year.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201c\u2018Eggshell Tap-Dancer\u2019 is about performing tenderness until your feet bleed,\u201d lead singer Tyson Ritter explained in a statement. \u201cThe character in the song is tiptoeing around someone who probably stopped listening three exits ago, but he\u2019s still there \u2014 pulling rabbits out of hats, making balloon animals out of his own arteries. In the end, I think it\u2019s a love song written for someone who\u2019s just detached from the world and madly in love with obsession.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe All-American Rejects are set to return with its as-yet-untitled new album in February. The set will be the band\u2019s first since 2012\u2019s Kids In the Street<\/em>. The rock group is currently in the midst of a massive arena tour with the Jonas Brothers, while \u201cEasy Come, Easy Go\u201d previously drove the band\u2019s viral House Party Tour. The trek, in which the band performed at house parties<\/a> across the country, became a viral phenomenon.
