On Oct. 24, the Music City Walk of Fame<\/a> announced a new class of inductees.<\/p>\n Old Dominion<\/a>, Charley Pride<\/a> and Liz Rose<\/a> have earned their stars on the one-mile stretch that connects downtown and Music Row.<\/p>\n Old Dominion, the reigning CMA group of the year, joins the group alongside Rose, who co-wrote 16 songs with Taylor Swift including “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).” Pride, who died in 2020, was a three-time Grammy winner known for breaking down barriers in country music as the genre’s first Black star.<\/p>\n More: <\/strong>Charley Pride: A sketch of country music\u2019s humble trailblazer, through the eyes of his son<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Barbara Mandrell, left, with daughter Jaime Dudney, poses in front of her star during the Music City Walk of Fame Induction ceremony near the Country Music Hall of Fame on Nov. 5, 2007.<\/p>\n \u201cThese inductees represent the heart of Nashville\u2019s music story,\u201d said\u00a0Ellen Pryor, the chair of Music City Inc., the foundation of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp.<\/p>\n \u201cFrom Old Dominion\u2019s rise from songwriters to stars, to Charley Pride\u2019s trailblazing legacy, to Liz Rose\u2019s timeless storytelling that defined an era \u2014 each has left an unforgettable mark on music and on Nashville.\u201d<\/p>\n 2024 inductees<\/a> included Jimmy Buffett, The Fairfield Four, Ryman CEO Colin Reed and the Opry’s Bill Cody.
