Eddie Osefo<\/strong><\/a> is back to work after being arrested on fraud charges.<\/p>\n

Eddie, 41, surprised fans when he showed up at his cannabis brand Happy Eddie<\/a>\u2019s pop-up event at Far & Dotter in Pikesville, Maryland, on Friday, October 24, sources exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Eddie arrived without his wife, The Real Housewives of Potomac<\/em> star, Wendy Osefo<\/strong><\/a>, and just before the pop-up opened to the public at 1 p.m. local time, one insider shared.<\/p>\n

The same eyewitness told Us<\/em> that Eddie was in \u201cgreat spirits\u201d and was seen laughing and mingling with attendees during the two-hour event.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was very welcoming and inviting,\u201d the source said, noting Eddie\u2019s conversation with everyone was \u201clight and good-hearted.\u201d<\/p>\n

He spoke about his Happy Eddie brand and working in the cannabis industry, but did not talk about his and Wendy\u2019s recent arrests or charges<\/a>, the insider explained.<\/p>\n

Eddie\u2019s conversation was \u201cnothing out of the ordinary,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n

He posed for a few photos and gave out swag, including his cannabis brand\u2019s shirts, hoodies and lighters.<\/p>\n

Wendy, 41, expressed how \u201cproud\u201d she is of her husband amid the expansion of his Happy Eddie cannabis business during the Sunday, October 5, premiere [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eddie\u2019s appearance also helped drum up business for the local dispensary hosting the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was definitely busy,\u201d the insider told Us<\/em>, noting that the pop-up \u201chad a nice steady flow.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also posted about the event earlier in the day on Happy Eddie\u2019s social media<\/a>, writing, \u201cProud to be back in the community today @fardottermaryland Pikesville spreading Happy Vibes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eddie and Wendy, 41, were arrested on October 9<\/a> on charges of insurance fraud, conspiracy insurance fraud and making a false statement to a police officer.<\/p>\n

Both have denied the allegations and hired separate attorneys to fight the charges.<\/p>\n

Eddie hired powerhouse attorney Joseph Murtha, who has ties to President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky\u2019s former case, Us<\/em> exclusively reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He and Wendy are demanding that the charges against them be dismissed and that all evidence collected be suppressed, claiming an unlawful search and seizure<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The charges stem from an alleged burglary at their Maryland home in April 2024.<\/p>\n
