The Bachelor<\/i><\/a><\/span>\u2019s Grant Ellis<\/span><\/a><\/strong> is ready to kiss and tell about his celibacy journey.<\/p>\n

Weeks after revealing on social media that he is abstaining from sex until he finds the right partner, Ellis, 31, shared insight into his decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been in two [relationships] my whole life. When I do, I put my all into it,\u201d he shared on the Friday, October 24, episode of PodcastOne\u2019s \u201cWhen Reality Hits\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a>. \u201cI want it to be meaningful and I want it to last, so I\u2019m trying the best I can to withhold until I find my right person.\u201d<\/p>\n

After being eliminated on Jenn Tran\u2019s season of The Bachelorette<\/i>, Ellis was named the lead of season 29 of The Bachelor<\/i>. Although he got engaged to Juliana Pasquarosa<\/strong> during the March finale, the duo split three months later<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFormer Bachelor Grant Ellis spoke candidly about his relationship with Juliana Pasquarosa just four weeks before they called off their engagement. \u201cWe\u2019ve been taking our relationship just day by day, honestly,\u201d Grant, 31, exclusively told Us Weekly on May 21 at the Bringing the Beach to Beverly Hills to Rebuild Malibu event. \u201cShe is a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019m doing my best, and I want my next relationship to be the one,\u201d Ellis shared with podcast host Brittany Cartwright<\/strong>. \u201cIf you\u2019re not it, I\u2019m just not gonna.\u201d<\/p>\n

When cupid does strike, Ellis joked that he will be ready to connect with his forever partner.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we do have sex, it will be great,\u201d he said with a laugh. \u201cI\u2019m very good, but I\u2019m waiting.\u201d<\/p>\n

On October 12, Ellis surprised some followers when he posted a video<\/span><\/a> to social media confirming he was celibate. In his message, the former professional basketball player opened up about his personal decision to wait for sex.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe being the most recent Bachelor, I feel like I have a little authority in the dating space being that the show is about dating,\u201d he explained. \u201cI think finding something serious \u2014 finding something that\u2019s worth pursuing \u2014 is really hard, especially out here in LA and major cities like New York.\u201d<\/p>\n

While choosing to be celibate can be \u201chard,\u201d Ellis believes he\u2019s making the right decision for himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a man,\u201d he shared. \u201cI definitely have my urges, my desires, and I\u2019m just being fully transparent. I have messed up in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Ellis, what keeps him on the journey is his relationship with God.<\/p>\n

\u201cMainly it\u2019s because of my faith. \u2026 God knows the desires of your heart and he knows what makes you happy,\u201d he explained. \u201cThe same God that knows how to make you happy, He would know how to give you a partner without having to test drive things.\u201d<\/p>\n
