He\u2019s featured on \u201cNever Change My Mind,\u201d the new single by Nashville-based indie rock singer-songwriter JT Loux<\/a><\/strong> that not only features Oates\u2019 vocals but was co-written by the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.<\/p>\n \u201cMeeting John Oates was surreal, but actually getting to write a song with him was beyond anything I could\u2019ve imagined. The track we created together means so much to me. The rapper will be featured on another track that will be included on Loux\u2019s sophomore album, set for an April 2026 release.<\/p>\n Oates, meanwhile, released an album simply titled Oates earlier this year. It features the singer-songwriter dueting with soul singer Devon Gilfillian<\/strong> as well as the New York City-based soul pop band Lawrence.<\/p>\n Hall, meanwhile, is wrapping up a string of tour dates featuring special guest Glenn Tilbrook<\/strong> of Squeeze.
