When Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse<\/strong><\/a> releases in 2027, it\u2019ll be doing so with a distinction that neither of its two predecessors have.<\/p>\n In a recent post on social media, writer Christopher Miller chimed in on a topic of the film\u2019s IMAX presence. A fan asked whether or not Beyond the Spider-Verse would utilize the full IMAX ratio and \u201cexpand\u201d for this film.<\/p>\n In a response that got fans excited, Miller confirmed they would, simply saying \u201check yeah we will\u201d in response. Whether or not the film will be completely in IMAX\u2019s full ratio is unknown, as film\u2019s have utilized different ratios in the past. However, judging by Miller\u2019s comments, it seems like this Spider-Man is making sure to check off all the boxes when it comes to presentation.<\/p>\n Beyond the Spider-Verse is releasing more than four years after its predecessor, 2023\u2019s\u00a0Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, on June 18, 2027. The movie was originally planned to be released on March 29, 2024; however, it was removed from Sony\u2019s calendar in July 2023 due to delays from the writers\u2019 and actors\u2019 strikes.<\/p>\n Following its initial delay, the film was thought to be planned for release sometime this year.
