CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) \u2013 Local music legends are set to perform this weekend at the Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame\u2019s 10th induction ceremony.<\/p>\n
The class of 2025 inductees include Eddie Phillips, Tim Kerwick, Charlton Singleton, Gus Moody, James Holmes, Asher DiBernardo, John Etheridge, Rik Cribb, Ray Fischer, and John Congdon.<\/p>\n
The Lowcountry\u2019s Chief Meteorologist, Rob Fowler, will emcee the event on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hanahan Amphitheater.<\/p>\n
The Hollywood Squares, Ray Fischer, and John Etheridge will take the stage for live performances. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend this family-friendly event,<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Hall of Fame is about honoring the roots and people who make Charleston\u2019s music scene what it is,\u201d said Davis. \u201cIt\u2019s a chance to look back, celebrate the present, and inspire future generations of musicians.\u201d Now entering its tenth year, the event continues to grow as a community tradition that bridges generations and genres, reflecting the diversity, creativity, and collaboration that define the Lowcountry\u2019s music culture.<\/p>\n
The Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame was founded in 2015 by Michael Davis, a musician and owner of Ye Olde Music Shop. Hundreds of artists, bands and industry contributors have been recognized since the initial inception.<\/p>\n
