It\u2019ll likely rain Saturday before 11 a.m. with anticipated new precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch. It\u2019ll be breezy too, with gusts as high as 18 mph.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Saturday night is mostly cloudy with lows around 54 degrees, as chances of rain drop to 20% chance of rain after 11 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a 30% chance it could rain Sunday morning mainly before 11 a.m. Otherwise, Sunday seems to be mostly cloudy with highs near 64 and lows around 53, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow\" href=\"https:\/\/forecast.weather.gov\/MapClick.php?CityName=Sacramento&amp;state=CA&amp;site=STO&amp;textField1=38.5817&amp;textField2=-121.493&amp;e=1\"><u>the forecast said<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>So with that in mind, here\u2019s what is in store for the Sacramento area, check out this list of activities and events around the Sacramento region.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2\">Sacramento Kings play their home opener<\/h2>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The NBA season has officially tipped off as the Sacramento Kings opened their season with a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sacbee.com\/sports\/nba\/sacramento-kings\/article312606769.html\"><u>120-116 loss Wednesday<\/u><\/a> against the Phoenix Suns. The Kings led by 20 in the first half of the game but were outscored 36-21 in the third quarter and 30-24 in the fourth.<\/p>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The Kings look to rebound from Wednesday\u2019s collapse in their first home game versus the Utah Jazz at 7 p.m. Friday.<\/p>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Tickets start at $50, according to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketmaster.com\/sacramento-kings-vs-utah-jazz-sacramento-california-10-24-2025\/event\/1C0062FE7DC41DA6\"><u>Ticketmaster.<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2\">Sacramento State football looks to back up chatter<\/h2>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Sacramento State\u2019s resurgent football team will face one of its toughest tests Friday night as it hosts undefeated No. 4 Montana at Hornet Stadium.<\/p>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m., with the game airing nationally on ESPN2 and locally on ESPN 1320 AM (KIFM).<\/p>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The Hornets (4-3) have <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sacbee.com\/sports\/college\/article312589377.html#storylink=cpy\">won two in a row under first-year head coach Brennan Marion<\/a>, whose up-tempo \u201cgo-go\u201d offense has taken shape midway through the season. But Friday\u2019s matchup brings more than just Big Sky Conference stakes\u2014it\u2019s also drawing national attention for the off-field back-and-forth between the two programs.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The buzz began last week when Sacramento State President Luke Wood, during a halftime interview with ESPN+ broadcaster Jason Ross, jokingly referred to the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/s_akem18\/status\/1979741566106575211\">visiting Montana Grizzlies as the \u201cMontana Pandas.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to playing the Montana Pandas. Sorry. Montana Grizzlies. Grizzlies.
