Erie was one of six cities that also made the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/press.upentertainment.com\/up-entertainment-announces-top-20-most-uplifting-cities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2024 list<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>UP Entertainment provides uplifting entertainment across cable, satellite and streaming platforms. The cities from each region were:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>South:<\/strong> Greenwood, Mississippi; Jackson, Mississippi; and Albany, Georgia.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Midwest:<\/strong> Springfield, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri; and Kansas City.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Northeast:<\/strong> Buffalo, New York; Rochester, New York; and Erie.<\/li>\n<li><strong>West:<\/strong> Tucson, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Chico, California.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<partner-banner util-module-path=\"elements\/partner\" fluid=\"\" bottom=\"\" lazy=\"\" class=\"spacer-large\" min-height=\"390\" outstream=\"\"\/>\n<p>Joining Erie on the list for a second time were Greenwood, Albany, St. Louis, Buffalo and Chico.<\/p>\n<p class=\"related-link\"><span class=\"exclude-from-newsgate\"><strong style=\"margin-right:3px\">From 2024: <\/strong><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.goerie.com\/story\/news\/local\/2024\/10\/16\/erie-pa-named-top-20-most-uplifting-cities-america-up-entertainment\/75688138007\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Residents&#8217; optimism, generosity help Erie make list of Top 20 Most Uplifting Cities in US<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 wp-block-heading\">Pass it on<\/h2>\n<p>The list is part of UP Entertainment&#8217;s Uplift Someone initiative that also includes <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/upliftsomeone.com\/uplift-someone-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Uplift Someone Day<\/a> on Oct. 30.
