As fans campaign for a Star Wars project that never materialized, Steven Soderbergh<\/a> is finally able to discuss his script.<\/p>\n

The 5x Oscar winner said it \u201cwas a first\u201d for Disney to reject his completed script for The Hunt<\/a> for Ben Solo, after Adam Driver<\/a> revealed it was \u201cone of the coolest (expletive) scripts I had ever been a part of.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the record, I did not enjoy lying about the existence of The Hunt For Ben Solo, but it really did need to remain a secret\u2026until now!\u201d wrote Soderbergh this week on Bluesky<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso, in the aftermath of the Hfbs situation, I asked Kathy Kennedy<\/a> if Lfl had ever turned in a finished movie script for greenlight to Disney and had it rejected,\u201d he later posted. \u201cShe said no, this was a first.\u201d<\/p>\n
