Robert Irwin<\/a>\u2019s \u201cDancing Through Life\u201d on Dancing With the Stars<\/a><\/em> got big ups from the big screen\u2019s Fiyero himself, actor Jonathan Bailey<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Wicked<\/a><\/em> star sent Irwin flowers after Irwin nailed a Fiyero-inspired jazz dance on the ABC<\/a> reality competition.<\/p>\n In an Instagram video<\/a> Irwin posted on Friday, pro partner Witney Carson<\/a> surprises him in the rehearsal studio with a massive bouquet of flowers.<\/p>\n \u201cWho are these from?\u201d Irwin says, admiring the gift. \u201cOh my goodness, that\u2019s gorgeous.\u201d<\/p>\n Carson quips, \u201cDo you have a secret admirer that I don\u2019t know about?\u201d<\/p>\n Then Irwin opens the card that accompanied the bouquet and reads the message aloud: \u201cYou are the shiz, Robert. You\u2019ve done all the Fiyeros proud. Cheering you on from afar. Big love, JB.\u201d<\/p>\n Irwin beams and addresses Bailey, saying, \u201cThis has made my day. Thank you so much, Jonathan!\u201d<\/p>\n Later in the video, Irwin parades his bouquet around the studio, as an offscreen Carson says, \u201cYou wanna put those down so we can rehearse, or you just gonna\u2026?\u201d<\/p>\n The October 21 episode of Dancing With the Stars<\/em> was \u201cWicked<\/em> Night,\u201d a celebration of last year\u2019s musical blockbuster and its upcoming sequel, Wicked: For Good<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Jon M. Chu<\/a>, director of both films, joined the judging panel as the remaining couples danced to the films\u2019 soundtrack in what ABC called the \u201cOzdust Ballroom.\u201d<\/p>\n And Irwin and Carson danced a jazz routine to \u201cDancing Through Life,\u201d Fiyero\u2019s big song-and-dance number from the first film.<\/p>\n The four judges gave the duo 9s across the board.<\/p>\n \u201cThat needs to be your theme song because I think you\u2019re going to be \u2018Dancing Through Life,\u2019\u201d Carrie Ann Inaba<\/a> told Irwin. \u201cEverybody in this room wants to be dancing through life with you, Robert.\u201d<\/p>\n Judge Derek Hough<\/a> advised the zookeeper to trade out his hiking boots for Broadway shoes, telling him he\u2019s \u201cmeant to be on stage.\u201d<\/p>\n Chu said watching Irwin in person is even more fun than watching DWTS<\/em> from home. \u201cTo see your range from last week to this week, from honesty to joy, in all our living rooms, we need it more than ever,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n And judge Bruno Tonioli<\/a> called the dance a \u201cjoyful, theatrical treat,\u201d a sentiment Bailey seems to share.<\/p>\n Dancing With the Stars<\/em>, Season 34, Tuesdays, 8\/7c, ABC<\/strong><\/p>\n Wicked: For Good<\/em>, In Theaters, Friday, November 21, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n Read the latest entertainment news on TV Insider<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
