There\u2019s nothing like having friends<\/a> in conveniently close places. Whether it\u2019s a couch to crash on, a solid rec for dinner, or just someone to laugh (or vent<\/a>) with, it\u2019s always a win. In the case of Jennifer Lawrence<\/a> and Robert Pattinson<\/a>, though? It was about food, specifically, food fished out of the trash. Yes, really.<\/p>\n Jennifer, 35, recently popped by The Graham Norton Show<\/a><\/em> and shared the very on-brand chaotic story about the time she invited Robert, 39, over to her house.<\/p>\n \u201cI had my girlfriends over. We were in our pajamas. We were watching Little Women<\/a><\/em>. It was December,\u201d she started. \u201cHe was like, \u2018Hey, I just wrapped something like a block away from you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Oh my God!\u2019 \u2019Cause Rob is one of the girls. He wants to gossip. He just is one of the gals. So I was like, \u2018Come over!\u2019 He comes in, and I give him a hug, and he\u2019s like, \u2018You have any food? I\u2019m so hungry,\u2019\u201d she recalled. \u201cAnd I\u2019m like, \u2018Yeah, yeah, yeah, come in, come in!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n What Robert didn\u2019t know? The food was, uh, not fresh.<\/p>\n \u201cSo while he was in the bathroom, I was just like pulling food out of my garbage can,\u201d Jennifer continued. \u201cSo he eats it and we\u2019re all just kind of watching him eat this trash. And then when he was finished, he was like, \u2018I\u2019m still hungry, is there more?\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018Well, there is, but it\u2019s in the garbage.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Apparently, that wasn\u2019t a dealbreaker for the Twilight<\/em> star. \u201cHe was like, \u2018I don\u2019t mind,\u2019 and then he just pulled it out of the trash and kept eating it,\u201d Jennifer said.<\/p>\n Dumpster dining aside, the two actors are currently co-starring in the upcoming psychological dark comedy-drama Die My Love<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n The film, due out in theaters on November 7, follows Grace (Lawrence), a writer and young mother, who begins slipping into madness.
