Katy Perry<\/strong><\/a> and Justin Trudeau<\/strong><\/a> took their romance to the City of Light for a very special date.<\/p>\n

The former Canadian Prime Minister, 53, was filmed holding hands with the \u201cDark Horse\u201d singer following a date in Paris for her 41st birthday on Saturday, October 25. Footage published by TMZ<\/a> showed Perry wearing a sleek red dress and being handed a rose from a fan outside a cabaret performance at Crazy Horse Paris.<\/p>\n

With Trudeau holding her hand, Perry accepted the rose as other onlookers sang \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d outside the venue. Trudeau and Perry were all smiles as they briefly acknowledged the throng of photographers and fans before getting into a waiting car.<\/p>\n

It has been a whirlwind few months for the two stars. The couple were first spotted<\/a> on a walk in Montreal\u2019s Mount Royal Park in July before enjoying a private meal together at the Le Violon restaurant a few hours later.<\/p>\n

In photos obtained by the Daily Mail on Saturday, October 11, Perry, 40, could be seen kissing and cuddling Trudeau, 53, on board her Caravelle yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California. Perry and Trudeau have since gone on multiple outings over the past several months, including a PDA-filled trip on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, in early October.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> learned<\/a> on Friday, October 24, that both Perry and Trudeau are trying to maintain their privacy despite the increasing public interest in their relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaty is really into it. She\u2019s very happy,\u201d an insider told Us<\/em>. \u201cShe\u2019s trying to keep it low-key, and they\u2019ve spent a lot of private time together. She\u2019s not looking to publicize this relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source added, \u201cTheir friends think they are a good match, but he actually hasn\u2019t met a lot of her friends yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trudeau and Perry squeezed in their latest date between concerts on the musician\u2019s Lifetimes<\/em> European Tour. Perry performed at the Accor Arena in Paris on Friday and is scheduled to be back on stage at the MVM Dome in Budapest, Hungary, on Monday, October 27. Their new relationship seemingly started one month after Us<\/em> exclusively reported<\/a> that Perry and longtime partner Orlando Bloom<\/strong> ended their engagement in June after 10 years together. (Bloom shares 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove with Perry, and shares 14-year-old son Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr<\/strong>. Perry was married to comedian and political pundit Russell Brand<\/strong> from 2010 to 2012.)<\/p>\n

\u201cOrlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,\u201d reps for the pair confirmed in a joint statement to Us<\/em> on Thursday, July 3. \u201cThey will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is \u2014 and always will be \u2014 raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.\u201d<\/p>\n
