SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) The State Street Ballet is celebrating a proposal.<\/p>\n

Ryan\u00a0Lenkey\u00a0got down on one knee and proposed to\u00a0Saori\u00a0Yamashita\u00a0during the final bow at the end of Romeo and\u00a0Juliet\u00a0at the last at The\u00a0Granada\u00a0Theatre.<\/p>\n

It took place during the season opener for The State Street Ballet and The\u00a0Santa Barbara\u00a0Symphony .<\/p>\n

Yamashita nodded her head before they embraced.<\/p>\n

They shared their thoughts afterwards.<\/p>\n

“Two dreams came true in one weekend and I still feel like I am dreaming,” said Yamashita.<\/p>\n

“We are so over-the-moon and\u00a0haven’t\u00a0been able to stop smiling all week and now we are going to New\u00a0York\u00a0to celebrate,” said Lenkey.<\/p>\n

The dancers live in Santa Barbara and said they plan to elope in the area next month.<\/p>\n
