Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> delivered an emphatic response to critics of her 12-year-old daughter, North<\/strong> West<\/strong><\/a>, experimenting with fake piercings and face tattoos on her social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is such a non-issue,\u201d Kardashian, 45, clapped back at critics on the joint TikTok account she shares with her daughter on Saturday, October 25.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, North revealed a whole new look<\/a> in a TikTok video that has amassed nearly 5 million views and 180,000 \u201clikes.\u201d In the clip, North debuted a tattoo of a star under her eye and her name written in cursive on her cheek.<\/p>\n

The 12-year-old paired her fake facial tattoos with a faux septum piercing, as well as braided blue highlights in her hair. North also displayed henna symbols on her hand and a black grill over her teeth.<\/p>\n

North tried to ward off any controversy by making it clear in a followup post that all of her style accessories were temporary.<\/p>\n

\u201cFake piercings and fake tatts 4 life,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Still, some were not impressed by North\u2019s temporary makeover, with one commenter suggesting it was a \u201cshocking new look.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s TWELVE??\u201d another commenter complained.<\/p>\n

Many others defended the preteen, with one X user asking: \u201cNone of you tried fake tattoos as kids??\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really not that serious, hence the word \u2018fake,\u2019\u201d a commenter pointed out.<\/p>\n

Kim and her daughter have experimented with fake piercings in the past. In 2019, Kim Kardashian shared a photo of North wearing a fake nose<\/a> ring at an 85th birthday celebration for Kris Jenner<\/strong>\u2019s mother (and North\u2019s great-grandmother), Mary Jo \u201cMJ\u201d Campbel<\/strong>l, in addition to mother and daughter wearing matching faux piercings to events .<\/p>\n

The former couple, who began living separately in 2020 before she filed for divorce in February 2021, first welcomed their daughter North, followed by Saint in 2015 and Chicago three years [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

North is the oldest of Kim and ex-husband Kanye West<\/strong>\u2019s four children. The former couple also share Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 6.<\/p>\n

During her October 15 appearance on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast<\/a>, Kim assured host Alex Cooper<\/strong> that she actively encourages North\u2019s interest in fashion.<\/p>\n

Kim insisted North already has a strong sense of fashion, which is why she \u201cdresses like a tomboy most of the time.\u201d<\/p>\n
