Reflecting on his recent interactions with Satish Shah, Shekhar Sumar told News18, \u201cIt\u2019s very eerie that the whole of last month and the month before, Satish kept calling me and disconnecting the call. Each time, he sent a message that read, \u2018Sorry, dialled by mistake.\u2019 I told him, \u2018I hope you make these mistakes more often, Satish.\u2019 And he kept telling me that he would call me back.\u201d<\/p>\n
Suman added that their families were close, with their wives being friends, and that he was aware Shah had not been keeping well for some time. \u201cI tried to speak to him, but a couple of times his phone was switched off. And the times he called me, he used to disconnect the call. I see this as a strange sort of connection. Why was he calling me, then disconnecting and texting me?\u201d<\/p>\n
Recalling their last meeting, Suman said, \u201cI think I had last met him about a year ago, perhaps at a party. He had become pale, looking frail, with grey hair.
