As Yorgos Lanthimos<\/a> rolls out another award-worthy film with Emma Stone<\/a> for the third consecutive year, he\u2019s due for some R & R.<\/p>\n

The 5x Oscar nominee recently admitted he needs \u201ca little break\u201d after his latest movie Bugonia<\/a>\u2018s wide release on Oct. 31, despite also intending to take a breather after his previous two titles, Poor Things<\/a> (2023) and Kinds of Kindness<\/a> (2024).<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I can\u2019t keep doing that anymore. [Laughs] That\u2019s what we\u2019re certain of right now,\u201d he told Collider<\/a>, adding: \u201cIt\u2019s a big mistake. I think I need a break. I\u2019ve said that before in between the other three, but I\u2019m serious now. You can hold me to it. I\u2019m going to take a little break.\u201d<\/p>\n
