Robert Irwin has posted a special tribute<\/a> to his late dad which has left fans “crying.”<\/p>\n The Dancing with the Stars<\/a> contestant took a moment to honor his father Steve Irwin<\/a>, best known as the Crocodile Hunter, with a video on Instagram on Saturday, Oct. 25. Steve died on September 4, 2006 at the age of 44 after being pierced in the heart by a stingray’s barb while filming in the Great Barrier Reef.<\/p>\n The video opened up with a clip of the Crocodile Hunter<\/a> saying, “Is there anything in this world that would want to make me give away what I’m doing now? Yes. Yes there is.”<\/p>\n He continued, “When my children can take the football that I call wildlife conservation and run it up. When they’re ready to run up our mission, I will gladly step aside.”<\/p>\n The video then showed clips of Steve with his children, his wife, and Robert following in his father’s footsteps with animals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Steve continues, “And I guarantee you, it’ll be the proudest moment of my life. And my job will be done. Then, and only then, will I know that I have achieved my ultimate goal to be able to stand aside and let them run up my mission.”<\/p>\n The Crocodile Hunter and his wife, Terri Irwin, 61, share two children together, Bindi, 27, and Robert. They all honor his legacy working at the Australia Zoo in Queensland, Australia.<\/p>\n Robert captioned the post, “To continue this legacy is the honour of my life. If I can make my dad proud, I\u2019ve done my job.
