Taylor Sheridan<\/a> is poised to make NBCUniversal<\/a> his TV and film production home under a lucrative long-term deal starting in three years after he will have spent a decade with Paramount Television<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sheridan<\/a> has emerged as a prolific series creator and busy showrunner who has delivered a string of series for Paramount<\/a> and its platforms: \u201cYellowstone<\/a>\u201d and its spinoffs, as well as \u201cTulsa<\/a> King,\u201d \u201cLioness<\/a>,\u201d \u201cLandman<\/a>\u201d and \u201cMayor of Kingstown<\/a>,\u201d among others.<\/p>\n

News that Sheridan is about to strike a megabucks deal with NBCUniversal, as courted by entertainment chief Donna Langley<\/a>, was first reported Sunday by Puck<\/a>. NBCUniversal declined comment as did Paramount. Sheridan\u2019s spokeswoman could not immediately be reached Sunday evening.<\/p>\n
