LAIKA Studios, the acclaimed stop-motion studio behind Coraline, has unveiled a brand-new behind-the-scenes teaser<\/strong> for its upcoming animated film, Wildwood<\/strong>. The teaser gives fans an exciting glimpse into the artistry and scale of the studio\u2019s \u201cmost ambitious\u201d project yet, slated for release soon.<\/p>\n The newly released BTS teaser<\/a> reveals just how far LAIKA is pushing the limits of stop-motion animation. Directed by Travis Knight and written by Chris Butler, Wildwood adapts the beloved Wildwood Chronicles book series by Colin Meloy, illustrated by Carson Ellis. The film follows Prue McKeel (voiced by Peyton Elizabeth Lee), a young girl who ventures into the mysterious Impassable Wilderness outside Portland to rescue her kidnapped baby brother, Mac.<\/p>\n Joining Lee in the voice cast are Carey Mulligan, Angela Bassett, Awkwafina, Jake Johnson, and Mahershala Ali.
