Megan Fox<\/strong><\/span> recalls her experience with fame in Hollywood after her breakout role in the Michael Bay-led Transformers movies. Fox expressed feeling lost and full of \u201crage\u201d because the paparazzi were \u201cruthless\u201d towards her.<\/p>\n On October 25, Megan Fox attended a special screening of her 2009 teen horror-comedy, Jennifer\u2019s Body. During the event, she revealed the dark side of fame that followed after starring in the Transformers movies.<\/p>\n When asked what advice she\u2019d like to give her younger self, Fox responded, saying, \u201cOh, I don\u2019t know that I would give myself advice\u201d (via People<\/a>). The actress continued, \u201cI think where I was at that point in my life.\u201d \u201cSo lost, so full of that rage that I had towards how I had been treated in the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n For emphasis, the 39-year-old shared an incident that occurred during Jennifer\u2019s Body\u2019s premiere in 2009. \u201cI just left a premiere for something where I had to go\u2014I\u2019m obligated to go. I remember the paparazzi were so ruthless back then\u2014the way they would talk to women.\u201d<\/p>\n The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress continued, pointing out the paparazzi\u2019s mean comments. \u201cAnd I walked out just to try to get to my car, and they\u2019re all shooting.\u201d Fox said, \u201cAnd one guy\u2019s like, \u2018Megan, why are you such a bitch?\u2019 And another guy is like, \u2018Megan, do you think you\u2019re overrated? The internet says so,\u2019 and I\u2019m just trying to do my job.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite such incidents, Megan Fox shared that she found it \u201cvery cathartic\u201d to work on Jennifer\u2019s Body. It gave her the \u201cpermission to be unhinged.\u201d<\/p>\n Furthermore, she then continued sharing how her character in the movie resonated with her on a personal level. \u201cI resonated with those deeper layers of\u2026 you know, before she becomes a monster, she\u2019s just a teenage girl who gets sacrificed for somebody else\u2019s gain,\u201d Fox shared. \u201cAnd that very much resonated because that\u2019s kind of how I got\u2026 I came into this industry.
