HGTV star Christina Haack<\/a> has shared some advice when it comes to co-parenting and maintaining friendships with ex-partners,<\/a> which she has had to do twice.<\/p>\n Speaking to People<\/em><\/a> earlier this month, Haack opened up about her friendships with her first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa<\/a>, and her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead<\/a>. Despite tumultuous separations with both, Haack later mended the relationships and worked to raise their children together.<\/p>\n Haack was married to her\u00a0Flip Off<\/em><\/a>\u00a0co-star, Tarek, from 2009 to 2016, and the pair shares two children: daughter Taylor (15) and son Brayden (10). After they split, Haack got into a relationship with\u00a0Anstead,\u00a0marrying him in 2018 and welcoming a son, Hudson (6), together in 2019.<\/p>\n \u201cIt really takes everyone in a co-parenting situation wanting to make it work,\u201d the Christina in the Country<\/em><\/a> star told People.<\/em> \u201cI have people message me all the time to be like, \u2018How did you do that? My husband\u2019s ex hates me,\u2019 or \u2018I could never hang out with my ex.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n After finalizing her divorce from Anstead in 2021, Haack went on to marry Josh Hall<\/a>. However, this relationship also fell apart, with the former couple filing for divorce in July 2024<\/a>. At the time of the split, Hall and Haack were starring alongside Tarek and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa<\/a>, on The Flip Off<\/em>. Hall later exited the show.<\/p>\n Haack is now in a new relationship with boyfriend Christopher Larocca, the president and CEO of Network Connex. She and Larocca are friendly with Tarek and Heather Rae, with the four of them often going on double dates together.<\/p>\n \u201cIt takes all of us, and right now there\u2019s four people in this situation \u2014 myself, my boyfriend Chris, Tarek and Heather \u2014 and all of us want to get along,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cAll of us work hard to make sure that we\u2019re all getting along.\u201d<\/p>\n Haack added that she and Tarek are \u201cgood at letting go of the past,\u201d stating, \u201cI think it\u2019s just a maturity level and us putting the kids first and then the rest is kind of easy.\u201d<\/p>\n She also revealed her third divorce is what led to her reconciliation with Anstead. \u201cWhen Josh and I split up, Ant and I\u00a0immediately had a heart-to-heart\u00a0, and he said, \u2018I want to co-parent Hudson. Like you and Tarek do.\u2019 Not those words exactly, but he said, \u2018I want to have a great co-parenting relationship with you,’\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n Despite going through a tense custody battle at the time of their split, Haack and Anstead are now in a good place, co-parenting.<\/p>\n \u201cWe go to soccer games. We sit next to each other at school. We do birthday parties together,\u201d Haack stated. \u201cAnd thank God, because that would make me so sad if growing up, Hudson, didn\u2019t get to have those things with us.\u201d<\/p>\n While acknowledging how some might find her friendships with her exes \u201cweird,\u201d Haack concluded, \u201cI think my kids love that they know anyone can come over here and we could do Christmas together and we could do parties together. So it\u2019s nice for the kids. It\u2019s not weird at all. It\u2019s wonderful.\u201d<\/p>\n
