Drew<\/a> and Jonathan Scott<\/a> took to social media to celebrate one of the most important women in their lives.<\/p>\n \u201cI know everyone says that their mom\u2019s the best, but mine really is,\u201d Jonathan wrote in a Saturday, October 25, Instagram<\/a> post in honor of his mother Joanne Scott\u2019s birthday. \u201cHappy birthday! Love you<\/p>\n \u2764<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n .\u201d<\/p>\n Jonathan shared his birthday message alongside snaps of himself and Joanne horseback riding in the mountains. Scott.<\/p>\n Last year, Joanne and Jim relocated from their home in the Canadian Rocky Mountains to Los Angeles to be closer to their sons\u2019 families. (Jonathan is engaged to actress Zooey Deschanel<\/a>, who shares two kids<\/a> with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik.)<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re leaving their dreams,\u201d Drew shared in an interview with People<\/a> published in November 2024. \u201cUp in the Rocky Mountains, they had this killer view. They\u2019ve lived their whole lives there \u2014 60 years they\u2019ve been together. This has been where they first met, and where they were before they moved down here.\u201d<\/p>\n Drew and Jonathan teamed up to renovate their parents\u2019 California home on their series Don\u2019t Hate Your House with the Property Brothers<\/a><\/em> last year. \u201cWe couldn\u2019t have them move down here to be closer to family and hate where they live,\u201d Drew told the outlet.<\/p>\n Jonathan, for his part, said they felt pressure to create the perfect home, as \u201cyou don\u2019t want to disappoint your mom \u2014 that\u2019s the most important thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Drew and Jonathan returned to their ranch roots on their latest HGTV series, Chasing the West<\/a><\/em>, earlier this year.
