Guillermo del Toro<\/a> has made it clear in no uncertain terms that he would \u201crather die\u201d than use generative AI in any of his films.<\/p>\n

The Oscar winner has been busy the past few weeks promoting his latest film, \u201cFrankenstein<\/a>,\u201d which is playing in select theaters now and is set to debut globally Nov. 7 on Netflix<\/a>. Based on Mary Shelley<\/a>\u2019s 1818 novel of the same name, the film follows Victor Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac<\/a>), a human scientist who stitches together the body parts of countless dead men to create a new, living Creature (Jacob Elordi<\/a>), despite being unprepared for the consequences of his act of creation.<\/p>\n
