The University of Scranton\u2019s graduate program in clinical rehabilitation counseling<\/a> will host an alumni reunion as part of a 60-year anniversary celebration.<\/p>\n Clinical rehabilitation alumni and University community members are welcome to attend the event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Kane Forum inside McGurrin Hall. It is free to attend and will feature food, fun and giveaways. Guests must register online at this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n Two distinguished program alumni \u2014 Rob Froelich, <\/strong>an associate professor of counseling at George Washington University and staff member at George Washington\u2019s Center for Rehabilitation Counseling, Research and Education, and Helen Froelich<\/strong>, senior vice president of Utilization Management at Genex \u2014 will also present, \u201cAI \u2013 Where Do We Draw the Line? Ethics and Boundaries.\u201d The presentation will examine ethical concerns raised by many counseling professionals who are uncertain about the practice of using artificial intelligence. It is a one-hour Ethics Continuing Education session; CRC certificate or certificate of attendance available.<\/p>\n University officials will also offer remarks and Lori Bruch, Ed.D., associate professor of counseling and human services, will speak on the history of the program as it marks 60 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
