Contrary to reports, Britney Spears<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0was on her best behavior during a recent girls\u2019 night out.<\/p>\n

After Spears, 43, and her assistant got dinner at Red O in Westlake Village, California, on October 22, eyewitnesses claimed to the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> that the pop star acted \u201cerratically\u201d at the Mexican restaurant before \u201cdangerously\u201d speeding back to her home in the nearby city of Thousand Oaks.<\/p>\n

However, the eatery\u2019s general manager, Oliver Wynn<\/strong>, exclusively tells Us Weekly<\/em> that the accounts are not \u201cfair, realistic or true.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was there and attended to Britney and her friend,\u201d Wynn says. \u201cShe was super chill and really nice. She was in and out of the restaurant within an hour. She just kind of hung out, grabbed a bite to eat and left.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spears first showed off her vocal skills on the singing competition Star Search at 10 years old in 1992. Following a stint on The Mickey Mouse Club, she signed a record deal with Jive Records in 1997 and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Wynn shares that Spears sat in the restaurant\u2019s recently launched lounge and cocktail area, where she \u201cordered a quesadilla and no alcohol.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnother guest or fan bought her a glass of wine at the bar and brought it over to her table,\u201d he clarifies to Us<\/em>. \u201cShe was not intoxicated.\u201d<\/p>\n

During Spears\u2019 brief visit to Red O, she took photos and videos with multiple fans, according to the manager.<\/p>\n

\u201cI looked over a lot to make sure Britney was comfortable with taking pictures because if she wasn\u2019t comfortable, I would have made sure it didn\u2019t happen,\u201d he says. \u201cBritney was just chatting with her friend and fans the whole time. They were very chatty.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIn a candid Instagram post Britney Spears shared on August 24, the singer opened up about the toll of being temporarily estranged from her kids, Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James, 18. \u201cThe hardest years of my life were my two sons gone for those 3 years. I was cut off from calling or texting [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Wynn shares that Spears \u2014 who wore a black wide-brim hat, an off-the-shoulder yellow top, white shorts and tan flip-flops \u2014 was \u201cso, so sweet to everyone\u201d and even \u201cthanked the restaurant staff before she left\u201d while holding hands with her friend.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was impressed at how nice she actually was,\u201d he adds. \u201cI worked at other restaurants frequented by a lot of celebrities, and I\u2019ve never really seen a celebrity be as nice as Britney was.\u201d<\/p>\n

As far as paparazzi footage of Spears swerving lanes on her way home, a separate source explains to Us<\/em>, \u201cShe was being followed by a bunch of cars, and their lights were really bright. She was a little overwhelmed and just wanted to get home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to Spears\u2019 rep for comment.<\/p>\n
