But even though Andrew just gave up the use of his titles and honors, hasn\u2019t been a working royal for years and is reportedly not even being invited to spend Christmas<\/a> with the rest of the family, there\u2019s still a reason he will probably remain in the general consciousness, at least for now: the fact that he is still living at Royal Lodge<\/a>. And not everyone\u2019s happy about that.<\/p>\n Part of the issue isn\u2019t just that Royal Lodge is a massive mansion; it\u2019s also that it\u2019s pretty close to Prince William and Kate Middleton\u2019s new home of Forest Lodge. According to\u00a0The Sun<\/a><\/em>, however, the disgraced prince has some demands in order to vacate his current home. Additionally, he wants his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who lives with him at Royal Lodge, to be granted Adelaide Cottage, the home Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to move out of.<\/p>\n \u201cNo one is really sure how it\u2019s going to go down at the Palace yet,\u201d a source told\u00a0The Sun.<\/em>\u00a0\u201cAndy is willing to leave, but these are his demands. He is realistic and knows the writing is on the wall and that his time at Royal Lodge is up. If he must go then he has asked for Frogmore Cottage. Incredibly Sarah has said she wants Adelaide Cottage. Sarah and Andy have lived together at Royal Lodge since 2008 despite being divorced and seen like they are still a married couple. It\u2019s incredible that they are willing to go their own separate ways. But it indicates that they have been under immense strain this year and need a break from one another. It\u2019s a fresh start for both.\u201d<\/p>\n But if this does happen, whatever break Andrew and Fergie<\/a> end up taking from each other won\u2019t be that big, according to sources.\u00a0\u201cFrogmore Cottage is too small for both and Adelaide Cottage is around the corner so they will see each other whenever they want. Both have space for their daughters<\/a> Eugenie and Beatrice and their families to visit,\u201d the outlet also reported.<\/p>\n It might all be what the former couple needs to stay on good terms, though, considering RadarOnline.com<\/em><\/a>\u00a0recently reported that Ferguson is preparing to \u201cturn on\u201d\u00a0Prince Andrew\u00a0as they both have to deal with the consequences of their long relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The two recently had to give up the Duke and Duchess of York titles<\/a>,\u00a0and now, there\u2019s pressure to leave their home at Royal Lodge.<\/p>\n \u201cSarah\u2019s always known how to look after herself,\u201d a royal insider told the outlet. \u201cIf she\u2019s forced to pick between protecting Andrew or protecting her own future, she\u2019ll put herself first. She realizes this scandal could finish her off \u2013 and she\u2019s not the type to go down without a fight.\u201d<\/p>\n This new compromise, however, might keep them both on good terms and take them out of Royal Lodge.
