The <\/span>Greatest Showman<\/span> star revealed whether his and ex-wife <\/span>Deborra-Lee Furness<\/strong>\u2019 two kids <\/span>Oscar Maximilian<\/strong>, 25, and <\/span>Ava Eliot<\/strong>, 20, will follow in their parents\u2019 acting footsteps.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey’d both be very good, but I don’t know,\u201d Hugh told E! News\u2019 <\/span>Francesca Amiker<\/strong><\/a> Oct. 26 in an exclusive interview at the 2025 AFI Fest Presented by Canva world premiere of his and <\/span>Kate Hudson<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s new movie <\/span>Song Sung Blue<\/span>. \u201cI just want them to do what they love.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But while the <\/span>Wolverine<\/span> actor\u2014who <\/span>finalized his divorce<\/span><\/a> from Deborra-Lee in June\u2014may not be totally sure about his kids\u2019 future, he certainly is focused on supporting whatever it may be. Indeed, he and his ex noted that family was their \u201chighest priority\u201d when announcing their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before then, Hugh\u2014who <\/span>made his red carpet debut<\/span><\/a> with girlfriend <\/span>Sutton Foster<\/strong> at the <\/span>Song Sung Blue <\/span>premiere\u2014had been vocal about emphasizing to his kids how blessed they were.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
