Snoop Dogg<\/a> is celebrating his time with the No Limit crew.<\/p>\n The veteran hip-hop star made a surprise appearance on Saturday (Oct. 25) to show support for his former record label during its battle against Cash Money Records at ComplexCon in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n The \u201cDrop It Like It\u2019s Hot\u201d rapper hit the stage to perform C-Murder<\/a>\u2019s classic \u201cDown 4 My N****z,\u201d sending the crowd at the Las Vegas Convention Center into a frenzy.<\/p>\n After leaving Death Row Records, Snoop joined Master P<\/a>\u2019s No Limit Records in 1998, releasing three albums \u2014 No Limit: Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told (1998), No Limit Top Dogg (1999) and Tha Last Meal (2000) \u2014 during his brief time at the label.<\/p>\n Saturday\u2019s Verzuz showdown celebrated two of Louisiana\u2019s most iconic rap labels. No Limit\u2019s lineup included Master P, Mia X and Silk the Shocker, while Cash Money brought heavy hitters like Juvenile, B.G., Mannie Fresh and Birdman.<\/p>\n Fans were treated to performances of legendary tracks including \u201c400 Degreez,\u201d \u201cI\u2019m Still Fly,\u201d \u201cBling Bling,\u201d \u201cBreak Em Off Something,\u201d \u201cHow U Do That There,\u201d \u201cSlow Motion,\u201d \u201cProject Chick,\u201d \u201cBout It Bout It,\u201d \u201cReal Big,\u201d and \u201cMake Em Say Unh,\u201d according to Complex<\/a>.<\/p>\n In early October, Complex announced a partnership<\/a> with Verzuz to relaunch the music battle series at ComplexCon. \u201cRather than talking so much, we just want to get to the action,\u201d Verzuz co-founders Swizz Beatz<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Timbaland<\/a> said in a joint statement.<\/p>\n Verzuz was launched in March 2020 by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz as a creative outlet during the COVID-19 pandemic. The platform was sold to Triller Network<\/a> in March 2021 but had been largely dormant for nearly three years.
