Former \u201cDancing with the Stars<\/a>\u201d pro Maks Chmerkovskiy<\/a> is taking issue with the show\u2019s recruitment of Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s dancer Jan Ravnik<\/a>. He said during a recent appearance on \u201cThe Penthouse with Peta\u201d podcast that Ravnik has \u201cabsolutely no business being a pro\u201d on the long-running competition series.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s zero foundation, technique, quality, understanding of the partnership,\u201d Chmerkovskiy<\/a> said. \u201cBro, I\u2019m getting emotional. It is absurd, and this is unreal how blind we have to be, and God forbid say what\u2019s obviously there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chmerkovskiy first joined \u201cDancing with the Stars<\/a>\u201d on Season 2, and went on to compete as a pro in a total of 17 non-consecutive seasons. Ravnik joined the show for Season 34 and is paired with Jen Affleck<\/a>.<\/p>\n
