Country music star Morgan Wallen<\/a> seemed more concerned with looking good in his 2024 mugshot than with being arrested, as recently released footage from last year’s arrest shows.<\/p>\n

The resurfaced video captured the 32-year-old singer chopping it up with the authorities after he was arrested and taken to a local police facility in Nashville, Tennessee<\/a>, to be booked. During his conversation with police officers, he made it abundantly clear that he wanted to look his best before he was processed for his arrest.<\/p>\n

“And you say you have been arrested here before? There’s your picture if you want to see it from last time,” one officer asked Morgan, who responded with, “Do I gotta take another picture?” at the time of his 2024 arrest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Yeah, they’ll probably take an updated picture of you,” the officer explained to the entertainer. Morgan immediately asked, “Can you make sure I got my hair looking decent?”<\/p>\n

Before last year, Morgan was arrested in 2020 in Nashville for public intoxication and disorderly conduct following his being ousted from Kid Rock’s bar.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Also seen later in the footage, once Morgan returned from the bathroom, he is captured in the back of the police squad car, asking officers with a giggle, “How do I look, man?”<\/p>\n

The officer replied with a compliment, saying, “Good,” before Morgan added, “I’m gonna smile this time, too. Should I smile? I’m a lot happier than I was then. I used to be mad. I’m not no more. You ever been mad?”<\/p>\n

The officer answered, “Oh yeah,” prompting Morgan to go on asking, “At the world? Me too.”<\/p>\n

Morgan slightly changed the subject, but emphasized, “I’m not anymore. I went to church for [the] fourth time in a row today.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For the 2024 arrest, Morgan was arrested and charged with felony reckless endangerment initially, before it was reduced to two misdemeanor counts.<\/p>\n

He pleaded guilty in December 2024, and was sentenced to seven days in a DUI education center along with two years of supervised probation.<\/p>\n

“Mr. Wallen has cooperated fully with authorities throughout these last eight months, directly communicating and apologizing to all involved. Mr. Wallen remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation,” Morgan’s lawyer Worrick Robinson IV said in a statement to PEOPLE<\/a> then.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
