[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for\u00a0Brilliant Minds<\/a><\/em> Season 2 Episode 6 \u201cThe Doctor\u2019s Graveyard.\u201d]<\/strong><\/p>\n There\u2019s fun, thrills, and chills to be had in\u00a0Brilliant Minds<\/em>\u2018 Halloween episode<\/a>, which aired on Monday, October 27. Zachary Quinto<\/a> and Tamberla Perry<\/a> dressed up as\u00a0Star Trek<\/a><\/em>\u2018s Spock and Uhura, respectively, a nod to the former\u2019s role in the films. Meanwhile, we\u2019re starting to get clues as to what exactly Charlie (Brian Altemus<\/a>) is doing at Bronx General and another flashforward brings a visitor to Wolf at Hudson Oaks psychiatric facility.<\/p>\n Fitting for the spooky holiday, the doctors, including Wolf, are haunted by their pasts. For Wolf, it\u2019s a patient he couldn\u2019t save. And, as we see, Charlie is haunted by the same patient. The other doctor, who is running Wolf\u2019s department in the flashforwards, visits Hudson Oaks in a glimpse at that future timeline. Could Charlie be related or somehow connected to the patient who encountered Wolf in the past, and did that play a role with him being at Hudson Oaks? When TV Insider posed just that question to showrunner Michael Grassi<\/a>, all he\u2019d say is, \u201cWe\u2019ve got something cooking for you, and you\u2019ll have to stay tuned for more very soon.\u201d<\/p>\n Below, showrunner Michael Grassi breaks down this episode, including the Star Trek<\/em> costumes, flashforward, and more.<\/p>\n Love the Star Trek<\/em> costumes! And you know fans will, too. Talk about having Zachary dress up as Spock and any conversations you had with him about it. Whose idea was that?<\/strong><\/p>\n Michael Grassi:<\/strong> We love them, too! We came up with the idea in the room, and when we brought it to Zachary, he was so excited to include this Easter egg. If you listen carefully in that scene, you\u2019ll hear that the elevator also sounds different \u2014 another fun nod for Star Trek<\/em> fans.<\/p>\n What is Wolf thinking when Charlie visits him in that flashforward? Is he starting to put any pieces together? Having to rethink things?<\/strong><\/p>\n I think Zachary\u2019s excellent performance in that scene says a lot. He\u2019s surprised to see him, and his visit also carries a certain weight. When Charlie sits down, Wolf certainly braces himself. When we catch up to this conversation in the present, expect a twist\u2026<\/p>\n What can you tease about what we\u2019ll see coming up there in both timelines?<\/strong><\/p>\n All of our doctors will be tested in different ways, and this storyline affects everyone in different ways. We eventually\u00a0answer the question of what sends Wolf to Hudson Oaks, while also continuing to tackle our medical mysteries and hopeful, emotional storytelling. It\u2019s quite the ride and we can\u2019t wait for you to see more!<\/p>\n Ericka (Ashleigh LaThrop<\/a>) confides in Jacob (Spence Moore II<\/a>) about the pills. Why him? Is she now going to get the help she needs? Does this bring them closer together?<\/strong><\/p>\n Ericka and Jacob have come a long way since the pilot. They\u2019ve become a safe space for each other and have leaned on one another throughout the seasons. In this moment, with Jacob doing his ED rotation, he\u2019s the only safe space for Ericka \u2014 and she\u2019s able to open up to him for the first time this season about her struggles. This is a major step for Ericka, but she still has a long way to go. Ashleigh and Spence have such incredible chemistry, and I love this scene between them so much.<\/p>\n
