Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (P\u00d6FF)\u2019s anticipated Baltic Films Competition, curated for the 8th time by Edvinas Puk\u0161ta<\/a>, has just been unveiled, with a rich lineup of 11 titles including three world premieres.<\/p>\n

For the first time. the slate takes in only Baltic fiction films and co-productions, as documentaries will compete in the separate program Doc@P\u00d6FF Baltic Competition.<\/p>\n

Kicking off the program will be this year\u2019s Palme d\u2019Or contender \u201cTwo Prosecutors<\/a>\u201d by Sergei Loznitsa<\/a>, \u201can obvious choice\u201d for Puk\u0161ta considering the filmmaker\u2019s pedigree and the raft of Baltic cast and crew attached, such as the helmer\u2019s regular Lithuanian editor Danielius Kokanauskis<\/a>.<\/p>\n
