Sydney Sweeney and Mike White made magic on the first season of The White Lotus<\/em>, so why not join forces on The Amazing Race<\/em>? Sweeney recently acknowledged that she\u2019d love to go on the reality show with White as her teammate, telling Variety<\/em><\/a>, \u201cHonestly, Mike and I would be a killer team.\u201d<\/p>\n In the same interview, White concurred. \u201cI would definitely win with her,\u201d he said. \u201cShe\u2019s the master at getting what she wants. He lost Seasons 14 and 18 of the long-running reality series with his father Mel White as his teammate, and has also appeared on Survivor: David vs. Goliath<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cPart of my job and my way of life is studying people and analyzing motivation and character. I still feel like, even on the most contrived reality show, the people are human and they\u2019re more interesting than some of the most well-scripted drama,\u201d White told\u00a0The New Yorker<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in 2021 about his love of participating on reality TV shows. \u201cAnd for me, as a writer of drama, I aspire to do what reality television already does. To create characters that are surprising and dimensional and do weird shit and capture your attention.\u201d<\/p>\n Sweeney starred in the first season of The White Lotus<\/em> as teenager Olivia Mossbacher, the daughter of Connie Britton\u2019s Nicole and Steve Zahn\u2019s Mark. Elsewhere in the Variety<\/em> interview, White acknowledged that he would love for Sweeney to reprise her character on a future season of The White Lotus<\/em>, but isn\u2019t optimistic about the prospect. \u201cI don\u2019t know if we could afford her now,\u201d he said. \u201cAs of now, it doesn\u2019t look like that\u2019s gonna happen.\u201d<\/p>\n White has also floated the idea of an all-star edition of The White Lotus<\/em>, which could bring back multiple fan favorites. \u201cIt would be easy to just be full-on anthology, but I think it\u2019s more fun to have little threads through the show,\u201d he said in 2023. \u201cIf the show goes on for a couple of seasons, it would be fun to have an all-star season.\u201d<\/p>\n Season 3 of The White Lotus<\/a><\/em>, set in Thailand, aired on HBO earlier this year.
