{"id":2120243,"date":"2025-10-28T10:44:11","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T10:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2120243"},"modified":"2025-10-28T10:44:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T10:44:11","slug":"epic-line-up-for-the-2025-knowsley-fringe-music-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/epic-line-up-for-the-2025-knowsley-fringe-music-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Epic line-up for the 2025 Knowsley Fringe Music Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<h2>The\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cultureknowsley.co.uk\/knowsley-music-festival2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-penci-link=\"external\">Knowsley Music Festival<\/a>\u00a0is back again, taking place from 29 October \u2013 28 November with another fantastic line up of musical talent from across the Liverpool City Region and beyond!<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to the main music festival line up, the Knowsley Fringe Music Festival returns with shows taking place at venues throughout Knowsley from 1-14 November<\/p>\n<p>There will be original music and much-loved covers spanning across the musical genres, from Motown, soul and R&amp;B to Rock, pop, opera and more.<\/p>\n<p>There are more than 25 artists and groups performing at 16 venues including pubs, bars, church halls and community spaces throughout the festival and most of the events are completely free of charge to attend.<\/p>\n<p>A special mini-fringe festival comes to Cronton in the form of \u2018Cronton Stocks and Stars\u2019. Following on from the success of The Cronton Gala and Music Fest, Cronton Parish Council have been able to secure funding for an additional music event through the Heritage Lottery\u00a0Fund with support from Knowsley Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods said:<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cI am delighted to welcome back the Knowsley Fringe Music Festival. It is a fantastic showcase for our borough\u2019s vibrant grass-roots musical talent and I\u2019m thrilled that we can offer such a broad range of events\u2014from Motown to Rock and everything in between. She began writing her own music in her teens and has performed her songs in venues across Liverpool and even as far as Madrid!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday 1 November: Blue Indigo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>3pm at The Mermaid Tavern, 21 Market Place, Prescot L34 5SB<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Blue Indigo are a high energy R&amp;B duo consisting of saxophone, vocals and guitar. They perform a number of classic R&amp;B tracks that appeal to all ages and that are guaranteed to get you on the dance floor!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday 1 November: The McKnight Brothers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>8.30pm at The Dandelion Tavern, 427 Cronton Rd, Cronton, WA8 5QG<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Part of the\u00a0<strong>Cronton Stocks and Stars festival<\/strong>, The McKnight Brothers are a lively acoustic duo bringing a range of well-known classic covers from across the decades to dance or sing along to.\u00a0 A duo that sounds like a full band, with vocals, percussion, guitar &amp; harmonica.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday 2 November: MADE to be MUSIC<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>2pm at Made to be Mum, Unit 18, St Chads Parade, Kirkby, Liverpool L32<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Join us for a Sunday filled with good vibes, great company, and gorgeous live music. His career started when he performed on \u2018Stars in their eyes\u2019 at Nat King Cole. He will be joined by The Sammos and local guitarist Eric Fitz<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday 7 November: Kessler (80\u2019s tribute)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>8pm at The Unicorn Inn, 405 Cronton Rd, Cronton, WA8 5QF<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Part of the<strong>\u00a0Cronton Stocks and Stars festival,\u00a0<\/strong>Kessler are a Widnes-based 80\u2019s tribute band, playing music by acts such as Rick Astley, Duran Duran, Tears for Fears, Tiffany, Bryan Adams, Madness and more. He brings this wealth of experience to any stage to entertain with his unique brand of indie folk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday 8 November: Anne Taft presents The Colour of Light<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>4pm at the Shakespeare North Playhouse Foyer, Prospero Place, Prescot L34 3AB<\/em><\/p>\n<p>An evening of song featuring Huyton singer and composer Anne Taft, who will be joined by the incredible young Merseyside singer Lauren Harthorpe and locally renowned pianist Christine Horton. Written by Anne Taft, The Colour of Light is a soul-searching and heart-rending musical journey through the complex, intense and often challenging relationship between a mother and her daughter. The story explores the notion that at birth we arrive on earth as pure, brilliant light.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday 8 November: Echoes of the Underground<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>6.30pm at Bryer Road Community Centre, Bryer Rd, Prescot L35 5DW<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Echoes of the Underground is a one-night celebration of emerging and grassroots music talent from Knowsley and the wider Liverpool City Region. Showcasing a diverse line-up of performers aged 16 to 50+, highlighting the depth and range of creativity across generations. Born out of a weekly music session at Holy Family Social Club in Cronton, the League of Gentlemen are a collective of highly experienced musicians with a combined age of 390 years old.
