A rogue video Lily Allen shared on Instagram during her split from David Harbour finally seems to make sense after her new album \u2013 and it\u2019s brutal.<\/p>\n
The singer released West End Girl last Friday, and one of the songs called Madeline<\/a> appears to be about the Stranger Things actor\u2019s alleged affair, using a fake name to refer to the other woman in their marriage.<\/p>\n They split after he was accused of having a three year affair with a costume designer. Harbour has never addressed the allegations, but a woman called Natalie Tippett<\/a> has come forward and identified herself as \u201cMadeline\u201d<\/a> from the song.<\/p>\n Now, people are uncovering old posts from Allen and Harbour which have taken on sinister new meanings now people know alleged the context to their marriage breakdown.<\/p>\n Back in December last year, Allen posted a really graphic video of a pack of lions eating a zebra on her Instagram Story and everyone thought it was really random.<\/p>\n Credit: Lily Allen\/Instagram<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In the caption, she wrote \u201cThat circle of life. brutal\u201d and people were really confused in the comments because it was really out of place on her account and nobody knew the context.<\/p>\n \u201cUhm, ok but, what was the reason for the post?\u201d one person wrote, while someone else said: \u201c\u2018Lmaooo wtf this is so random Lily did u get hacked.\u201d<\/p>\n Credit: Lily Allen\/Instagram<\/p>\n<\/div>\n However, the post suddenly makes a lot more sense after the album. She posted the video while on a safari holiday with her daughters Ethel and Marnie shortly after the split, and it seemed like a dig at her ex-husband.<\/p>\n It seems like Lily was hinting that she\u2019s the zebra who was fed to the lions by Harbour, getting trapped in this brutal \u201ccircle of life\u201d where she\u2019s treated badly by men.<\/p>\n At the time, nobody knew why the pair had split.
