Rene\u00e9 Rapp was forced to postpone two concerts after the singer-actress said her \u201cbody has finally given out.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old announced the postponement of her Atlanta and Tampa shows on her Bite Me Tour<\/a> via her Instagram story Sunday, Oct. 26, according to PEOPLE<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIn my career I have never had to do this before \u2014 but I have to reschedule tonight and tomorrow\u2019s shows,” Rapp wrote. \u201cI\u2019ve been pushing through an illness but my body has finally given out. My doctors have told me that it isn\u2019t safe to perform due to the need for vocal rest and physical recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n Rapp\u2019s Tampa concert has been rescheduled for Nov. 4 and her Atlanta show is now set for Nov. 5. All original tickets will be valid for those new dates. Charlotte, set for October 29, is currently on as scheduled.<\/p>\n \u201cI truly appreciate how much time, planning and preparation goes into coming to a show,\u201d Rapp wrote. \u201cI can\u2019t describe to you how sorry I am to have to move things around. I love you all and I will see you soon.\u201d<\/p>\n The singer, songwriter, and actress is best known for her role as Leighton Murray in HBO\u2019s hit series \u201cThe Sex Lives of College Girls.\u201d Rapp also has a strong background in musical theater, as she landed the role of Regina George in the Broadway musical \u201cMean Girls\u201d from 2019\u20132020, and reprised the role in the 2024 film adaptation. <\/p>\n Rapp has since shifted her career to focus more on music. She released her debut studio album, \u201cSnow Angel,\u201d in 2023 and \u201cBite Me,\u201d her sophomore album, this past August.
