Taylor Sheridan, the creator of hit series including \u201cYellowstone\u201d and \u201cLandman,\u201d<\/a> has inked a five-year deal to develop entertainment for NBCUniversal. So, what does that mean for the future of his Paramount+ shows?<\/p>\n According to Deadline<\/a>, Sheridan\u2019s TV deal with NBCU doesn\u2019t begin until 2029, giving him three more years to \u201cfinish out his Paramount series commitments.\u201d <\/p>\n The television mogul\u2019s current Paramount+ series are \u201cLandman,\u201d \u201cMayor of Kingstown,\u201d \u201cLioness,\u201d and \u201cTulsa King.\u201d<\/a> <\/p>\n Paramount Network has also greenlit two upcoming \u201cYellowstone\u201d spinoffs, \u201cThe Madison\u201d and a series about Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) tentatively titled \u201cDutton Ranch.\u201d A \u201cTulsa King\u201d spinoff titled \u201cNOLA King\u201d<\/a> is slated to premiere next year as well. <\/p>\n The shows that Sheridan has developed for Paramount+ and Paramount Network aren\u2019t going anywhere. There\u2019s no reason shows like \u201cLandman\u201d have to end once Sheridan\u2019s NBCU deal begins. He\u2019ll be developing brand new content for the company rather than bringing his existing projects over to NBCU. However, there\u2019s a good chance Sheridan will play a less hands-on role with his Paramount shows once the NBCU deal begins. <\/p>\n While it\u2019ll be years before Sheridan starts developing TV shows for NBCU, he\u2019s set to begin working on films for the company next year.<\/p>\n In the meantime, Sheridan has plenty on his plate at Paramount. Season 3 of \u201cTulsa King\u201d and season 4 of \u201cMayor of Kingstown\u201d are currently airing on Paramount+. And so I kind of have to take advantage of it. \u2026 I don\u2019t know that I want to be doing it when I\u2019m 60.
